Are the rates including 21% tax?
Yes, the rates on the website are with 21% tax included

What are the opening hours?
Monday from 7.30 - 18.00
Tuesday to Friday from 8.00 - 18.00
Saturday from 8.00 - 17.00

Can I rent on Sundays?
If you want to rent on Sunday, you can pick up the car on Saturday afternoon. You may return the car on Monday morning. Only one rental day will be charged.

Can I return the car after opening hours?
No, the rental must be returned during opening hours.

How can the deposit be paid?
You can guarantee per bankcard (depending on class), various credit cards (Master, Visa, American Express) or cash deposits.

How much is the deposit?
The amount of the deposit depends on the class of car rental and the length of the rental period. The front desk employee can calculate this for you!

What should I bring to Kuperus to rent a car?
You must bring a valid Dutch driver’s license. It must be older than one year. You should also bring a passport/identity card and a bank statement (stating you address), no older than 60 days. The deposit is also required in advance of the rental period. Kuperus Car reserves the right to not accept the rental without giving a reason.

Can I park my car at Kuperus Car Rental?
Car Kuperus has free parking for your car, motorcycle, moped, scooter and bicycle. It is a private parking space and it closes in the evening

Where is Kuperus Car and it's easy to get there?
Kuperus Car is located at Liebergerweg 26 in Hilversum.

How long should I have my driver’s license to rent a car at Kuperus?
You must have your Dutch driver’s license for at least one year.

I have a foreign license, can I rent a car to Kuperus?
Under some circumstances we accept foreign licenses. The front desk employee will give you further information.

Do I need a 'milieu sticker' for Germany?
Yes, only with a 'milieu sticker' you get access to the city centers (Umweltzone). Click here for more information.

Should I pay the fuel if I drive 100 km free of charge?
Yes, free of charge does not mean you do not have to refuel your tank. At all times you are obliged to fuell the car and return it with a full tank.

Is there a gasstation at Kuperus Car Rental of Kuperus?
No, we do not have a gasstation on the ground. Nearby our establishment, you will find several petrol stations. The desk employee can give you the directions to the cheapest gas station.

What can I do if I want to use the rental car longer than the contract indicates?
You must call the office for a renewed contract. If you do not get into contact, there will be 50.- euros fine on top of the rental price charged.

What is the amount of the own risk?
Kuperus uses different classes of the own risks. It depends on the class of the vehicle. For delivery vans you can reduce the own risk by means of only € 16,00 a day. For cars and trailers you can reduce the own risk to null by means of only € 20,00 a day. Look at the sign 'more info' at the specifications of the vehicle.
