Insurance and Own Risk

• The transport of any vehicle is fully at one’s own risk.
• The cars are insured for liability, with insurance coverage up to € 2,500,000. - material damage per event, personal injury up to € 5,000,000.-.
• The standard own risk depends on the class of the rental vehicle. For passenger cars and trailers € 12,- (taxes incl.), for other categories € 15,- (taxes incl.), exception: damage to the roof.
• For damage to the roof, the own risk for private rental can go up to € 1,500.- and for corporate rental up to € 5,000.-.
• The cargo transported by the renter is not insured. Cargo has to be insured by the renter.
• Financial consequences as a result of damage caused by exceeding the maximum loading capacity of the car or the loading capacity of the cargo-lift, are for account of the renter.
• Flat and punctured tires as well as broken windows are for risk of the renter. We do offer a tire- and window-insurance. When insured for tires and windows, the own risk is € 0,00.

• For rental cars taken outside the Netherlands, we charge an additional €.7, - (taxes incl.) a day.
• A Eurovignet is mandatory for all trucks weighing more than 12 tons, cargo included. The Eurovignet is included in the rental price.
• It is possible to obtain an occupant’s insurance for €5, - (taxes incl.) a day.
• A second driver can be appointed at € 2,- (taxes incl.) a day.
